'DesignaKnit a Sweater' is ideal for the beginner with the
program. It takes the user through designing and knitting a
sweater (all-over pattern or motif), including creating the
garment with Standard Shaping, using S
titch Designer for the
stitch pattern, combining shape and pattern, printing the design
and pattern, transfer to the knitting machine and knit from the
screen.
Follow the steps, which are lavishly illustrated, to knit
the garment.
The CD supplied with the book makes it possible to read the text on-screen while working with the program and there are also new slideshows for each section. These are a quick and easy way to view the steps needed to design and knit a sweater while working with DKnit.
